Chronicle of our kennel

In 1996 we got our first Kerry Blue terrier. It was a male from kennel “Penny’s”. The name of the dog was Quidde. Because of death our friends gave him in our hands. This time Quidde was two years old. We contacted the breeder Mr. Walter Pfenning and he invited us to his home at Viernheim. There he showed how to groom a Kerry Blue the right way. Than Quidde was looking great and he asked if we had any thoughts about taking part at a dog show with our male. He invited us to a show in Limburg and Quidde got his first CAC. So the show career begun…

We were so avid by this race that we bought another Kerry Blue. This time it was a bitch and she came from Denmark. Her name was “Kordes Image Queen” called Kia. Kia settled in well but Quidde didn’t want to play with her so she was looking for other playmates. So she found our children and with them it never was boring. The small bitch was getting bigger and bigger and we went on show with her too. She was successful and we decided to start to breed with a kennel named “Bardo’s”. Bardo was the name of a knight from castle Sichelnstein. The ruins of this castle are still visible on the hills above our village.
